Terms and Conditions
The number of $1,000 scholarships awarded will depend upon the number of applicants. We will award a $1,000 scholarship for every 10,000 applicants up to $5,000 or 5 awards after 50,000 applicants.
The closing date to apply for these scholarships is Thursday, November 22, 2018 at 11:59 pm (ET).
To apply for this scholarship, you must be one of the following: middle school student, high school student, college student, parent of a middle school student, parent of a high school student, parent of a college student. Additionally, you must fill out all of the required information in the form above, and you must live in the United States. This scholarship application is limited to 1 per person.
To get more chances to win or 'entries', you must follow us on our social media accounts and share one of our original Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Pinterest posts about this scholarship on your personal feed or story using the hashtag #ScholarshipKeysScholarship. Each of these actions is worth 1 'entry'. You may complete 1 'entry' per social media platform per day until the closing date. This means that you may get up to 4 'entries' per day.
You may also tag people in the original post and refer them to apply for the scholarship. For every person who enters your name as the referral in their application, you will receive 1 'entry.' Referrals are not limited, so if you get 500 people to apply for these scholarships and they list your email as the “referrer” you would be entered 500 times for each valid application. There is no limit to the number of 'entries' you may submit, so the more entries the more chances you have to win.
The winners are chosen randomly. To increase your chances of winning, see the section above or our social media posts for more information. The winners will be announced before the end of the 2018 year.
The winners will be informed via the email and phone number you provided in the application form. The winners will also be announced on all social media platforms. A picture of the student & school attending or planning to attend will be posted as part of the win. The winners will be contacted for this information after they have been chosen. The winners will have 2 weeks from the announced date to respond. If a winner does not respond to claim the prize, they forfeit all rights to the prize. We will then randomly reselect a new winner.
If you have more than one child who is a student, you must pick the student who the scholarship would go toward. The limit is 1 application per person. Enter the students name in the 'Student's name' box.
If someone referred you to apply for this application, you may enter their name or email address into this box on your application. This gives that person 1 additional 'entry' or chance of winning these scholarships.
